Simon

Owner / Head Coach / Osteopath / Athlete

I opened CrossFit Knoxfield at 22 years old and have watched it grow over the past 4 years, recently moving to a larger facility. We have a great coaching team and an even better community of members from all walks of life and all fitness levels. Coming from an Osteopathy background I can easily scale down workouts for different needs, injuries and capabilities. 
I know that sometimes walking into a new place like CrossFit can seem a little daunting, but I promise that's the hardest part.. oh except maybe the workouts :)

Level 2 Coach / Masters Athlete

I have been at CrossFit Knoxfield since the beginning and have loved watching the community develop.
During six years of doing CrossFit I have transitioned from a complete "newbie" to a CrossFit Games masters athlete, finishing 51st in the world in 2015.
I believe focussing on the fundamental movements, and increasing mobility and flexibility, will lead to better and more efficient movement patterns. Therefore, my aim is to always encourage you towards correct movement techniques and adherence to movement standards.

Having been around high level sports, either competing or in administration, most of my life, I have developed a passionate belief in the CrossFit program.
With six years of CrossFit and four years of coaching, my objective is to provide you with all the resources available to achieve your goals.
I  have a huge interest and extensive knowledge of movement and biomechanics, so don't be surprised if I pull out my phone to record, observe and correct movement patterns!

I'd describe myself as the Mr. Nice guy at CFK. You'll never see me without a smile on my face and I always endeavour to get to know every single member of the community! 
I have been CrossFitting since moving to Melbourne over 5 years ago and have been involved with CFK right from the beginning.
My passion in maintaining a balanced diet and staying healthy continues to grow and I hope I can help to get you in the right direction to reach your goals!

Coach / Regional Team Games Athlete

I have been CrossFitting competitively for 4 years - Amongst my journey I have won several local comps and had the biggest accomplishment of qualifying for a spot in a team at the CrossFit Pacific regionals. 

I may look intimidating when I'm training (nickname 'Killer') but you'll find I'm super approachable and ready to help you achieve all your goals! 

I live, breath, talk, dream, eat, walk, everything with CrossFit!

Fitness has always been a huge passion of mine and being introduced to CrossFit took it to a whole new level. What I love about CrossFit is that no matter what fitness capabilities you have, the program will always allows you push yourself beyond any boundaries and exceed expectations.
Among my journey I've competed in many local competitions but definitely the best thing is throwing down a workout with the awesome CFK Community bunch. 
If you're ever looking to do some extra work after class please come and see me! Always open for extra workouts and gains together!

Standard Membership

$50 / week

Unlimited access to over 30 timetabled classes including CrossFit, CFK Barbell and all Open Gym sessions.

3x Sessions per week

$40 / week

Allows access to 3 timetabled classes per week, choose from over 30 timetables classes including CrossFit and CFK Barbell.

 

10x Sessions Pass

$190

Access to any 10 timetabled classes including CrossFit and CFK Barbell. Session pass does not have any time limitations and can be used until it runs out.

 

Personal Training

$50 for 45mins
$65 for 60mins

Personal Training sessions can be a great introduction into CrossFit movements or for extra one-on-one training.  Sessions can be made at any time for all fitness levels and capabilities.

 

Discounts

A 10% discount applies to members where:
- Primary employment is that of emergency services
- Family / Couples
- Full-time university student

A 30% discount applies to High-school student
